Saint Michael's Organ

Through the kindness of the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Eleventh Church of Christ, Scientist, Marylebone, we have received the donation of a world-class four manual Walker organ. Over the next twelve months it will replace our once magnificent W.G. Vowles three manual instrument, and when the work is complete, Saint Michael's will have one of the finest organs in Wales.

Paul Derrett kindly played a programme of music for us on the Walker organ immediately before dismantling work began, and it was recorded by Eric Shepherd. Please feel free to download the following tracks (mp3 format). The whole programme will soon be available as a CD (over 70 minutes!) the profits from which will go toward installing this superb instrument into Saint Michael's. Enjoy!
